Refrigeration License New Zealand was delighted to work in partnership with Jane Gartshore of “Cool Concerns” in the UK to present a series of training sessions throughout New Zealand on alternative refrigerants. 

The one day training session covered refrigerants which are used instead of HFCs and HCFCs in new systems.   It covered HC refrigerants in depth, introduced R32 and HFO1234ze and outlined the use of R744 (CO2).   There was a short section on leakage reduction.

We hope Jane will return in 2015 to deliver further courses for RLNZ
