Description

The return of AIRAH’s Industrial Ammonia Plant Operations course, offered in collaboration with RLNZ, provides an excellent opportunity for groups to enhance their knowledge and skills in handling ammonia.

The Industrial Ammonia Plant Operations course is a three-day in-house course for refrigeration plant operators who need to gain a thorough knowledge of how an ammonia refrigeration plant operates, its components, legislative requirements, and maintenance.  It also covers safety in the event of an ammonia leak. Refrigeration plant operators and anyone working around the plant should be aware of the potential hazards of ammonia – a toxic gas – and the appropriate courses of action to be taken in an emergency.

As an outcome of our ongoing business relationships, RLNZ has been able to approach AIRAH (Australia) for training support in the Ammonia field and is encouraging group registrations of 10 or more people from the same company to register their interest at admin@rlnz.org.nz
